Tocca Perfume Guide

Tocca Perfume Guide: Feeling Like A Royal

Tocca is a fragrance brand I first discovered in Sephora. They’re an American company, but their name is Italian. It translates to “touch.” I love their fragrances; I even have a hand lotion from them still (in Giuletta). Looking at their website, all of their products are hand-crafted and they also offer bath and body products as well as candles and diffusers. That and their packaging is always so adorable!

Are you interested in trying Tocca products? I suggest trying their perfumes first. They have an extensive list of high-quality perfumes and they offer a fragrance for everyone. Here’s Tocca’s complete fragrance collection.

Stella

Tocca Perfume Guide: Tocca Stella

If you like your floral fragrances on the fresher side, you’ll love the scent, Stella. It’s also a very feminine and sensual fragrance with notes of freesia, blood orange, and lily. This makes it a great perfume to wear during the day and also on a date night.

Spontaneous romance serves as the inspiration for this fragrance; it’s sweet, bright, and spicy, all in one perfume. This is a little too citrusy for my liking, but it’s perfect if you like more of the fresh yet playful scents.

Florence

This is one of Tocca’s most popular fragrances for a reason. Florence embodies all of the notes in a classic floral fragrance; gardenia especially makes up the bulk of this scent. However, it’s balanced with pear and bergamot, so it’s more sophisticated than your grandma’s gardenia perfume.

With all of these scents combined, this perfume is very bright but is still delicate enough to wear during the daytime. It’s a timeless fragrance that anyone will love.

Giulietta

: Tocca Perfume GuideGiulietta

This is the scent that I have and I love it! Even though I’m not a big fan of fresh scents, the apple notes instead of citrus notes do well with my pheromones.

This fragrance also has notes of tulip and vanilla, making it a very feminine fragrance. It’s a very versatile fragrance and one I think young people will especially like. I especially like how it’s sweet yet delicate enough to wear daily. Plus, it’s a very romantic scent, perfect to wear during a date.

Cleopatra

This is one I really want to try! Tocca describes this scent as “warm floral,” which is definitely right up my alley.

Inspired by the Queen of Egypt herself, this perfume has notes of Egyptian jasmine. It is a very seductive fragrance; even though Cleopatra wasn’t renowned for her looks, her brilliance attracted Julius Caesar and Marc Antony. In addition to jasmine, this iconic fragrance also features grapefruit and vanilla musk. It’s as captivating as the queen herself.

Simone

Simone

Simone is another fresh floral fragrance by Tocca. However, it’s probably the most youthful one they offer. This one combines the scents of watermelon and ylang-ylang. Honestly, this sounds like it’s right up my alley. It’s a very refreshing yet tropical fragrance, perfect for the summer.

Colette

Colette is another warm floral fragrance if Cleopatra isn’t your thing. However, Colette is even more sensual. This fragrance has notes of violet, bergamot, and pink peppercorn. My pheromones love violet and pink peppercorn, so I may also have to try this scent! If you truly want an alluring fragrance for a date night, definitely try this one!

Lilianna

Lilianna Tocca

If you’re looking for a fragrance that truly captivates joy, then choose Liliana. This peach-based fragrance smells very fresh. It’s a very delightful fragrance that’s perfect to wear if you’re going to a party, event, or are simply out with friends.

Bianca

Bianca Tocca

Everyone loves those fresh, water-based fragrances. This one kind of reminds me of that, with its heavy green tea notes. However, it’s balanced with lemon and rose, so it smells fresher than seaside-y. It’s a unique fragrance and one you should indulge in!

Gia

Toca Gia

If a powerful warm fragrance is what you’re looking for, then choose Gia. This fragrance is unique and is made of tangerine, pink peppercorn, and Turkish rose. It’s a creative fragrance but is also very feminine, perfect to wear to an event where you’re making a presence.

Belle

Belle

“Belle” translates to “beautiful,” and that’s exactly what this fragrance is; this fragrance is so beautiful because of its mystery. While it has notes of bergamot and white freesia, there’s something special about this perfume. It has a very clean scent, but it’s long-lasting. Perfect if you’re looking for a fragrance to carry you from the office to the nighttime.

Maya

Maya

Finally, we’re at Maya. This is another strong warm floral fragrance, but it offers a lot of character. Blackcurrant, wild iris, and patchouli make up the bulk of this scent. With all of these scents combined, this fragrance is both sweet and elegant. These strong notes make it a daring fragrance, but it’s also very feminine.

How to Choose the Best Tocca Fragrance

Tocca has a lot of fragrances and you may not know which is the best for you. Fortunately, Tocca offers a perfume finder quiz to make the process easier. I love Giuletta and want to try Cleopatra, but I love taking these quizzes, so I will take mine quickly.

First, it asks you to describe your style and gives you a few options: seductive, flirty, classic, or romantic. Honestly, all of these examples look and sound the same. I chose “seductive” because I look most like the girl in the drawing.

Then it asks your favorite thing to do on the weekend. Given it’s a Friday night and I’m writing this article, I guess writing about fragrance is my favorite weekend activity! Unfortunately, Tocca doesn’t offer that option. Instead, they offer these options: visit a beloved cafe, stroll in a garden, take a shopping trip, or go on a date night. I guess I will choose date night because my boyfriend and I usually have weekend date nights.

Now, it’s asking which scent you gravitate towards; the options are classic, fresh, soft, or warm. Hmm. I guess warm would best describe my preference.

From here, it’s asking for your favorite season of the year. Fall, duh! And sure enough, boom! I get Cleopatra. Tocca describes this fragrance as seductive, powerful, and exotic, which is everything I love in life — as well as in a fragrance.

Sizes and Price

All of their fragrances are available in different sizes. Here are the two most common sizes plus their prices:

  • 1.7 fl oz (50 ml): $76
  • 3.4 fl oz (100 ml): $125

Keep in mind, the Tocca website is sold out of many sizes. Be sure to be prepared to get a smaller or larger size of the fragrance you want.

In addition, Tocca offers travel sizes. The travel sizes are available in two sizes with different price ranges:

  • 0.33 fl oz (10 ml): $28
  • 0.68 fl oz (20 ml): $46

If you just want to try the fragrance, want something to carry around with you, or simply don’t want to spend $75+ on perfume, I suggest you get these smaller sizes. Keep in mind, these are spray fragrances, not rollerballs.

Gift Sets

Tocca offers a variety of gift sets. These are perfect if you’re buying a gift for a loved one or want to try a variety of their fragrances. The gift sets that Tocca has available on their website include:

Keep in mind, all of these sets have different scents featured in them. They’re also available at different price points. I suggest you look at all of them and find the one that best suits you or your loved one.

Where to Buy Tocca Perfume

I bought my Tocca Giuletta perfume and hand cream set at Sephora. You can also buy Tocca perfume directly on their website and at Nordstrom. I’m seeing Tocca listings on both Walmart and Amazon, however, I wouldn’t trust buying Tocca from these websites. There’s a chance the seller put a low-quality perfume in the same bottle and is charging full price for it.

Alternatives

It’s pretty challenging to find specific alternatives to Tocca perfume, especially since they have a wide catalog of fragrances. But here are a few similar dupes that I found.

Calvin Klein Euphoria

Calvin Klein Euphoria

This is one of my favorite fragrances of all time and is a good dupe for Collette. Both Collette and Euphoria are very sensual fragrances, all thanks to the violet base. Euphoria also combines other sexy notes such as orchid, pomegranate, amber, and mahogany wood. Its scent is very captivating and will quickly become your new favorite fragrance.

Juicy Couture Viva La Juicy

Juicy Couture Viva La Juicy

I love the way this perfume smells, but it doesn’t last long on me at all. I don’t blame the fragrance, I blame my pheromones. As I always say, vanilla and citrus fragrances don’t work for me at all, and these two notes make up the bulk of this fragrance. However, it’s a younger and more playful alternative to Giulietta.

As I stated previously, I love Giulietta because it’s a fresh floral scent. In most fresh scents, citrus makes up the bulk of the notes. But with Giulietta, apple makes up the fresh notes — and my pheromones love apple! These fragrances do have floral notes in common. For example, they both contain gardenia. Overall, these are both very sweet yet fresh fragrances that work great for daily wear.

Guess 1981 Los Angeles

Guess 1981 Los Angeles

This is probably the best alternative I could find to Florence. They’re both fresh scents and have pear as one of their main notes. Guess made a perfume that was inspired by LA’s mountain seascape at night. It’s a classic Californian scent and represents the brand’s heritage. Both 1981 and Florence are very classic fragrances, so you can never go wrong with either.

Victoria’s Secret Love Spell

Victoria's Secret Love Spell

While this is not my favorite VS fragrance, it is a good alternative to Liliana. They’re both peach-based fragrances and are unique. Love Spell also contains notes of cherry blossom. It’s the perfect combination of fruity and floral. Plus, Love Spell is significantly cheaper than Liliana. You only pay $18 for an 8.4 oz/250 ml bottle.

FAQs

Question: Which Tocca Scent Is the Best?

Answer: This is based on individual preference. I personally say Giulietta, though I really want to try Cleopatra. Looking online, it seems like Tocca’s most popular fragrances are Stella and Bianca. I would have guessed it was Florence, but I guess not.

Question: Which Tocca Perfume Would My Partner Like?

Answer: Assuming your partner is a man, men’s most popular scents include vanilla, pumpkin, orange, lily, and bergamot. There are plenty of Tocca perfumes that have these notes! Some perfumes I recommend are Giulietta, Stella, and Florence.

Question: Is Tocca Vegan/Cruelty-Free?

Answer: From the website, Tocca doesn’t test their products or any ingredients on animals. But there’s no guarantee their products are vegan. Tocca says they get their fragrance notes from different vendors, so it’s impossible to trace all of those vendors for animal products.

Question: Where Are Tocca Products Made?

Answer: All of Tocca’s products are made in the USA, except for their hand creams and candles, which are made in Canada.

Question: Are Tocca Products Safe?

Answer: I think so, but it depends on the type of skin you have and whether or not you break out easily. I will be honest, I don’t use that Tocca hand cream often because it does irritate my skin slightly. Then again, I have very sensitive skin. Tocca also said their products are free of phthalates, parabens, and gluten. They create all of their products in accordance with all International Fragrance Association’s guidelines. Keep in mind, Tocca fragrances do contain alcohol; this is to ensure the scent lasts. But since they are Eau de Parfums, the alcohol is very concentrated. Still, if you are sensitive to alcohol, I don’t recommend using Tocca products.

Tocca Perfume Guide: Bottomline

Tocca is a high-quality fragrance brand and is a great choice if you’re looking for an alternative to classic perfume brands. Their scents range from fresh to floral and just about everyone can find a Tocca perfume they like. Tocca is already becoming one of the most popular perfume brands. If you haven’t checked them out yet, take a look at their perfume collection and try out their fragrances!
