La Dame Perfume Review

Pierre Bourdon is a French perfumer behind many legendary scents and is one of his generation’s most well-known and innovative perfume concoctors. La Dame En Rose is a pretty recent formulation that came out in 2015 and has got all the perfume enthusiasts talking.

So, we have come up with the best La Dame Perfume review to give the judgment on whether it’s all hype or does the perfume actually holds some merit, and if it is not your cup of tea, we also recommend some great alternatives for you to try out.

The Scent of the Perfume

la dame fragrance

This Amber Floral fragrance is one of the most versatile scents on the market. Though most suited to a spring day, this scent, however, won’t seem out of place at night or during the dead of winter or on a hot summer day. Now that’s something you don’t get to say about perfume very often! The scent is very feminine and most suited for idealistic and hopelessly romantic folks.

Although floral scents can be a bit much for some people, this fragrance’s leather and woody undertones prevent it from being inherently flowery. The perfume offers moderate sillage and longevity.

The Notes of the Perfume

My Opinion

I often say that when it comes to fragrances, what is loved by some is downright hated by others, while you can always find a group who are entirely indifferent to the scent. Having said that, I’m not a fan of floral scents and when it comes to sweet scents I believe it shouldn’t be overpowering.

All in all, it’s probably best to leave these kinds of scents alone if you’re going to a formal gathering or really want to impress, as the sweetness might just give someone a headache and end up doing more harm than good.

However, assuming I haven’t put you off floral scents for good with my rant, they are an excellent fun option that sets you apart from the crowd.

FAQs

Question: Is the La Dame Perfume Any Good?

Answer: Again, it depends on what you personally find pleasing. A good scent is a very subjective concept. As for La Dame, it is fair to say that this perfume is not a copy, jumping on the bandwagon of another perfume’s success – unlike the case with many luxury brands, so it is very authentic yet can also be a little too pricey.
But perhaps the price is for its authenticity? So, try a tester, and if it’s your thing, buy your bottle today as there are no complaints on this product quality wise.

Question: Which Occasion is La Dame Best Suited For?

Answer: La Dame is a surprisingly versatile scent, and though suited most to spring, its earthy composition means it isn’t out of place no matter the season, occasion, or time of the day. It is ideally suited for more casual setups, but you can pull it off on festive events regardless.

Question: Is the La Dame Perfume’s Scent Available in any Other Form?

Answer: Yes! The La Dame scent is available as a luxury candle and a slim roller ball bottle oil to be applied to focal points to exude the scent to the optimum. Moreover, you can also get elegantly packed La Dame scent gift boxes containing all three forms – an ideal gift for Christmas and birthdays.

Question: Is La Dame a Luxury Perfume?

Answer: If you check out the price, you won’t need to ask this question! A small bottle of this juice comes at a costly rate. However, depending on what you look for most in a scent, it can be worth the price for some; for example, if you crave authenticity in perfume and love sweet florals, La Dame is your best bet.

Question: What is the Best way to Wear Perfume to Maximize Its Scent?

Answer: It is best practice for scents to spritz it on areas that tend to stay naturally warmer, like the back of the ears, the end of the neckline, and inner wrists. In this regard, the sleek rollerball La Dame stick is a great option as it enables you to cover your target areas with ease without spraying on too much perfume.

La Dame Perfume Review: Conclusion

La Dame is a good option on the whole if you don’t mind its hefty price. But if you are into the niche of sweet florals, there are many better options available out there in a variation of cost and the levels of sweetness.

Though, it is worth considering that this is an authentic creation, unlike being a rip-off basking off the glory of a prior success, which, surprisingly, even many famous high-end brands do. Perhaps that is an indicator of its high price.

However, if the price is too much for you compared to the scent, you can choose from the other alternatives listed above and pick the one most suited to your personal style.

A tip? It is best to leave exceedingly sweet perfumes alone on a hot, humid day.
