What Does Glossier Perfume Smell Like?
Though the Glossier brand carries various products (skincare, makeup, fragrance, and body products), they only offer one perfume, Glossier You, as of this writing.
That fragrance is available in spray and solid form. All the samples I found were of the spray, but if you like that, it’s safe to say you’ll also enjoy the solid, so you can confidently order that version if it’s your preference.
Glossier You smells different on everyone. Its notes are pink pepper, iris, ambrette seeds, and ambrox. Glossier You is clean, soft, and warm at its core, with a hint of musk. It reminds me of perfumes that smell like clean laundry but with a sensual edge. It’s definitely not dull, but on me, it’s an everyday fragrance that whispers.Â
Scents That Smell Like Glossier Perfume
Nailing down perfumes that smell like Glossier perfume is trickier than the average fragrance dupe adventure since Glossier You is designed to smell different on everyone. Here are a few similar ones I’ve found:Â
GAP Heaven
This one’s gotten harder to find over the years, but it was my go-to scent years ago and the first one that came to mind when I smelled Glossier You. It’s soft and clean, with white florals, musk, sandalwood, and moss.
The Body Shop White Musk
Here’s another (relatively inexpensive) scent with white florals and musk. It’s a powdery, clean skin scent with a similar vibe to Glossier You’s. The notes are aldehydes, jasmine, and musk.
This one smells a little smokier on me than the description suggests it should, and I don’t get that particular note from Glossier You. Still, they’re similar.
Chanel Chance Eau Fraîche
This one’s similar on my skin but more on the fresh side, less on the sensual one, compared to Glossier You. Notes include citron, jasmine, and teakwood.
Juliette Has a Gun Not a Perfume
This one’s all about the ambrox, which is also a component of Glossier You’s scent, and cetalox (a synthetic ambergris, which provides the musk note). It smells clean, but also a little sweet and spicy. It’s marketed as a unisex scent just like Glossier You.Â
Clean Reserve Radiant Nectar
This one has ambrette seeds and musk like Glossier You, plus pear, and strikes a balance between clean and sweet.
